Rubén Darío Abogado, legal advice to entrepreneurs and companies in Venezuela and Peru.
I am a licensed attorney in Peru (CAL 81168) and Venezuela (INPRE 188.305), with a Master’s Degree in Patents, Trademarks and Intellectual Property from the University of Barcelona. I specialize in the strategic management of intangible assets, technology transfer and legal advice related to innovation, entrepreneurship and protection of creativity.
During my professional career, I led the Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Office of the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, where I designed and implemented strategies aimed at protecting and valuing the intangible assets of the institution. Previously, I worked as Legal Advisor of the University Direction of Research, Science and Technology, participating in the negotiation and drafting of contracts related to research, technological development and entrepreneurship projects.
I was also part of the Institutional Ethics Committee for Humans (UPCH) as a full member, evaluating research projects from an ethical and legal perspective. In the academic field, I stood out for the design and implementation of the course “Copyright in university teaching”, focused on training teachers on the legitimate use of protected works in the educational environment.
Currently, I provide legal advice to entrepreneurs and companies in Peru and Venezuela on intellectual property (trademarks, patents, industrial designs, industrial secrets and copyrights), personal data protection and competition law. My goal is to offer solid legal solutions, adapted to the demands of an increasingly digital, competitive and interconnected environment.
